Memorial del campo de concentración de Bergen-Belsen

The teacher has decided that the blog will be in English. ¿The reason? We’re in the Bilingual Section so we are suposed to have a high level of English, both speaking or writing.
Today in class we saw a documental because part of the class was on a tour of the biology lesson. This documental was about the Bergen-Berlsen concentracion camp, and it was filmed by the Britains when they arrived to this camp and find what was going on there. More than 50.000 people died in the camp, situated in Germany, because of tifus, starvation or cold. The images in the documental are very striking, but they show the truth of the camp: the treatment to the jews was frightening.

The two main responsible of the concentration camp were:
-Adolf Haas
-Josef Kramer

All those Nazi responsible for the disaster were tried in a trial, this trial was known as ''Trial of Josef Kramer and other 44 defendants''

I want to recommend you three films also about Nazi concentration camps, this are three of the best films in history: ‘La vita è bella’ ; ‘Schindler’s list’ and ‘The Pianist’

I hope you enjoy the film, but I wonder you get the real message of the films.
I still can’t understand how a human person (in this case the whole nation) could trigger, or even try, this disaster. It’s amazing how envy and jelaousy can make a nation as Germany  wanted to annihilate the Jews, till the point of believing themselves superior and believe that their race should rule the world. This was the message said by Hitler, who defended the blond, blue eyes and high German, when he was dark, short and as rumours say, Jewish descent.
Hate to yourself? It could be.
